Syndesus is a specialist talent partner helping organisations build AI teams in Canada. They required a shareable asset to communicate the strength of Canada’s AI ecosystem and to position the business as the strategic partner that could turn those advantages into real, deployable teams.

The Challenge
Syndesus needed a way to move beyond simply saying that Canada has great AI talent and instead build a convincing case for why organisations should look there to scale.
The challenge was therefore to condense a large amount of market and industry information into a concise narrative that could quickly establish credibility, demonstrate the opportunity on offer and show how Syndesus could help a prospective customer move from entering the Canadian market to actually building an AI team.

The Outcome
The resulting one-pager markets Canada as a valuable proposition and uses effective information architecture to hit the key selling points: Canada has the talent → it has the infrastructure and institutions → talent is ready to deploy → larger teams can be built at lower cost → Syndesus provides a path to execution.
Statistical data, geographic context, talent profiles, salary comparisons and institutional examples provide evidence throughout, while the visual hierarchy makes the document easy to scan, rather than presenting the reader with a vast block of information.
During our discovery calls, we landed on a visual concept loosely inspired by Canadian hockey trading cards. I implemented this in the form of character bio cards and holographic elements scattered strategically throughout the page.
The end result is an asset that gives Syndesus a much stronger narrative around its core proposition while establishing the company as the specialist partner qualified to make these opportunities a reality.
